摘要:红外小目标的检测和增强在许多军事和民用应用中具有重要意义。然而,由于气候条件和环境噪声的影响,红外小目标的检测和识别仍然是一个具有挑战性的问题。本文提出了一种在多云背景下增强红外小目标的算法,该算法利用红外线偏振特性来提高目标的可见性。首先,通过对输入图像进行预处理,包括去噪和增强对比度等步骤,以减少环境噪声的干扰。然后,利用红外线偏振特性,对目标区域进行分割和提取,以增强目标的边缘和细节。最后,通过调整颜色映射和亮度对比度,进一步增强目标的可见性。实验结果表明,所提出的算法能够有效地增强红外小目标在多云背景下的可见性,提高目标检测和识别的准确性。因此,该算法在红外小目标检测和增强方面具有潜在的应用前景。

Abstract: The detection and enhancement of infrared small targets are of great significance in many military and civilian applications. However, due to the influence of climate conditions and environmental noise, the detection and recognition of infrared small targets is still a challenging problem. In this paper, we propose an algorithm to enhance infrared small targets in a cloudy background using infrared polarization characteristics to improve target visibility. First, the input image is preprocessed, including denoising and enhancing contrast, to reduce the interference of environmental noise. Then, the target region is segmented and extracted using infrared polarization characteristics to enhance the edges and details of the target. Finally, by adjusting the color mapping and brightness contrast, the visibility of the target is further enhanced. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively enhance the visibility of infrared small targets in a cloudy background and improve the accuracy of target detection and recognition. Therefore, the algorithm has potential application prospects in infrared small target detection and enhancement.
